Paul "Artie" Ardetto

Paul M. “Artie” Ardetto, 75, of New Lexington, Ohio died Monday, April 22, 2024 at his home.

Born April 16, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to the Late Louis “Shorty” and Joyce Hamrick Ardetto.

Paul was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam era, a member of AmVets, Eagles 2070 and BPOE #509 Elks of New Lexington. He loved to fish and took many fishing trips to Canada and Cumberland Lake. He enjoyed boating, watching the Buckeyes and the Browns. He loved being with his friends and family, everyone called him “Artie”.

Survived by his children, Jason (Summer) Ardetto, Nathan Ardetto, Angela (David) McCord, Courtney (Thomas) Munoz and Kate (Amber) Maysen; grandchildren, Justus Ardetto, Dallas Smoot, Layne Talbot, Isabella Ardetto, Dominic Ardetto, Rocco Stanton, Marissa McCord, Isabella McCord, Nevaeh McCord, Gabriel Munoz, Lilliana Munoz, Carter Grandstaff, Gage Grandstaff and Reghan Riggle; four great-grandchildren; half-brother and sisters, Tom (Dyan) Ryan, Jean (Dave) Harley and Barb Shiplett.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edith Davis.

Calling hours will be held 2-4pm and 6-8pm with Eagles service at 8pm on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery in New Lexington, Ohio.
